School Hours 2024-2025
Elementary Schools (KPA and Kindergarten through 5th Grade)
All elementary school students are in school from 8:50 AM to 3:45 PM
Early dismissal for Elementary Schools is 1:00 PM.
Beman Middle School (6th through 8th Grade)
All middle school students are in school from 8:05 AM and end at 3:00 PM.
Early dismissal for Beman Middle School is 12:00 PM.
Middletown High School (9th through 12th Grade)
Classes at MHS begin at 7:25 AM and end at 2:20 PM.
Early dismissal for Middletown High School is 11:00 AM.
Preschool/PreK
PreK Full Day at Bielefield, Snow, & Spencer: 9:00 AM to 3:45 PM
PreK Half Day AM at Snow: 9:00 AM to 11:45 AM
PreK Half Day PM at Snow: 1:15 PM to 4:00 PM

As outlined in the school calendar, all students will dismiss early on the following dates for all Middletown Public Schools. All of the days below are professional development days, unless otherwise noted. Breakfast and lunch will be served on all early dismissal days; transportation to and from school will be provided.

Students will dismiss early on the following dates for the below mentioned schools only:
Beman Middle School only: Wednesday, October 9 through Friday, October 10, 2024 (for Conferences)
Elementary Schools only (Kindergarten through 5th Grade): Wednesday, December 4 through Friday, December 6, 2024 (for Conferences) This does not impact preschool; No early dismissal for preschool on these days.
Beman Middle School only: Wednesday, March 5 through Friday, March 7, 2025 (for Conferences)
Elementary Schools only (Kindergarten through 5th Grade): Wednesday, March 12 through Friday, March 14, 2025 (for Conferences) This does not impact preschool; No early dismissal for preschool on these days.
The early dismissal times for the above dates are:
Middletown High School: Early Dismissal at 11:00 AM
Beman Middle School: Early Dismissal at 12:00 PM
Elementary Schools: Early Dismissal at 1:00 PM
Preschool schedules for the above mentioned dates are:
PreK Full Day at Bielefield, Snow, & Spencer: Early Dismissal at 1:15 PM
PreK Half Day AM at Snow: Attend from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM
PreK Half Day PM at Snow: No PM Preschool/Canceled
Scheduled Late Arrivals
As outlined in the school calendar, due to conferences, Middletown High School students only will have late arrivals on the following dates:
Friday, September 20, 2024: Classes begin at 10:00 AM
Friday, April 25, 2025: Classes begin at 10:00 AM
Lunch will be served on the two above mentioned days.
