Preschool Pumpkin Exploration

Our preschoolers in Mrs. Takiff's classes learned all about pumpkins during their pumpkin exploration week!

The students used golf tees and hammers on large pumpkins, and they painted pumpkins. They made predictions about what was inside a pumpkin before opening it up. The students came up with many vocabulary words to describe how the inside of a pumpkin felt. The classes ended the week by making pumpkin muffins, using measuring cups and spoons to combine ingredients, and talking about solids and liquids.
