Fourth Grade Field Trip to Wesleyan University

Our fourth graders visited Wesleyan University this week to take part and experience some of their amazing art programs!
Home to the Wesleyan Gamelan Ensemble, the group features traditional Indonesian instruments including tuned gongs, metallophones, a two-stringed fiddle, xylophones, flutes, and vocalists

Mozart's Chair exhibition: Explores how furniture establishes preconditions for action, viewing furniture as a setting, support structure, or performance object rather than just a functional item and features works that play with foreground and background relationships, indeterminacy, and props.

The students also participated in an accompanying art activity!
